Joel Gill is a native of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He graduated from Holden High School in 2019. He then attended and graduated from Louisiana State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Joel went on to attend Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctor and a Diploma in Comparative Law in 2025.

Joel brings a strong academic foundation and a deep connection to the local community to his professional work. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys playing golf and spending time on the course whenever he can. He is also an avid supporter of LSU athletics and is a dedicated fan of LSU baseball and football.  In addition, Joel is a longtime fan of the Chicago Cubs and enjoys following Major League Baseball throughout the season.
