About
Lisa Ellis
Director of Processing
Lisa was born and raised in Hammond, where she graduated from Hammond High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southeastern Louisiana University. After graduating from college, she left the nest and moved to Monterey, California, where she met her husband, Clark. From there, the couple moved to Las Vegas, where they lived for about eight years, and where their daughter, Peyton, was born. The family moved to Marble Falls, Texas just after Peyton was born to be near Clark’s family, but Lisa was soon feeling the call of home. With a toddler and husband in tow, Lisa moved back “home” to southeast Louisiana, where she landed a job with Jeff LeSaicherre, just before he opened Fleur De Lis Law & Title. She has been with FDL since its inception.
Lisa started her career working for a mortgage broker in Monterey, but transitioned into the role of escrow officer when she moved to Las Vegas, and later, to Texas. As it stands, Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in our industry to the table. She has worked for very large companies and very small companies, and a few in between. When she started at FDL in 2011, she was the only employee, so she handled all of the various job duties necessary to run the office. As the company grew in size, her role shifted to one of leadership. She currently manages the processing operations at FDL, where she is challenged with keeping processes and people up to date on the ever-growing, ever-changing machine that is FDL. Her goal is to keep it a well-oiled machine!
Lisa lives in Springfield with her husband, Clark, daughter, Peyton, and dog, Birdie. In her free time, Lisa enjoys reading, cheering on Peyton on the basketball court and track field, and napping with Birdie. Lisa is passionate about serving and is always on the hunt for the next project or organization for which to volunteer her time.
